Why are his views on AI important? Among the fear-mongers we have now, like some people say AI is going to rule over the world, the i-robot movie is going to happen in real life, our power grids are going to be controlled by AI, soon we will be extinct on Earth, etc.

These kinds of statements are not new and in fact have been appearing alongside AI for at least a century. But why has it gained recent momentum? It’s because of “Chat GPT”.
